Plans to construct an American-style diner just off a busy Kilmarnock road have been lodged.
Restaurant proposals have been submitted for Western Road with 76 covers anticipated at the new eaterie.
Lakeside Landscapes are behind the bid, which includes plans to create a car park with 35 spaces.
The landscaping firm currently uses the site as a yard and new blueprints show that a garden centre display will be created along with a new office and garage.
East Ayrshire planners will rule on the proposals at a future date.
