An American student living in Edinburgh has filmed a comedic jibe in response to the typical Scottish weather and disclosed how many layers she puts on before leaving the house.
Uploading the video to TikTok, the teenager starts off by describing her outfit as 'normal' until she reveals several layers beneath her top and bottoms to cope with the winter temperatures.
Stating that she is originally from Texas, the Scottish chill at the end of the year would certainly come as a shock for anyone not familiar with the country's climate.

She begins the video by saying: "So, this is what it looks like to get dressed in Edinburgh. It looks like a normal outfit with a hoodie and cargo pants, but I have got long Sponge-Bob socks, leggings, not one, not two, but three layers underneath plus the biggest puffer coat you've ever seen."
The woman shows the camera her various layers including leggings underneath her trousers and three tops beneath her big coat, although that isn't quite enough it seems.
She then leans towards the camera before the video ends and reveals: "And usually I'm still f****** cold."
With the temperature starting to plummet as December looms, the weather shows no signs of improving any time soon, much to the user's dismay. In recent days, low's of around one degree Celsius have been recorded in Edinburgh as frosted windscreens begin to greet early commuters in the morning.
The Met Office's forecast for the capital next week also makes for grim reading with low's of between 2-5C and periods of heavy rainfall to top it off.
