Another American Pie star has had a brush with the law. First Tara Reid was called to give evidence before a grand jury and now Natasha Lyonne has been arrested for drunk driving. On August 28, the 22-year-old actress, who has also appeared in Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You and the indie hit Slums of Beverly Hills, was spotted by police in Miami skidding her vehicle into a street sign and causing $2,500 (£1,720) worth of damage. She then drove away, but was chased by police. Lyonne was booked for driving under the influence and also for leaving the scene of an accident, before being released on $2,000 (£1,376) bail.
Michael Jackson is planning an all-star cast for the video of his comeback single, You Rock My World. The Sun reports that although Robert De Niro can't make it as he is filming in Italy, the promo, directed by Paul Hunter, will star Benicio Del Toro, Chris Tucker and the cast of The Sopranos.
Director John Frankenheimer (Ronin) will make Skeleton's Coast, which has been picked up by Paramount and Mel Gibson's Icon Productions. It is not yet known whether the action thriller, which is about a diamond heist in Africa, will also star Gibson.
