American goes viral after attempting to say 'Bawbag' and 'Edinburgh' in Scottish words challenge

The word Edinburgh was one of the only things an American TikTok user could say correctly when she attempted a hilarious Scottish word challenge.

Angelina Fishback asked her followers for a list of tricky Scottish words, that included 'Bawbag' and 'Ecclefechan.'

In the viral TikTok, the American who is asked to say 'jobby', responds: "I feel like you guys came through with some things I shouldn't be saying, but I'm going to do it anyway."

While Fishback managed to get Edinburgh right, it all goes horribly wrong when she tries to pronounce Glasgow and Milngavie.

The viral video has over 5000 likes with many Scots offering advice in the comments section on how she can improve her pronunciations.

One impressed fan commented: "Milngavie is pronounced Milguy but well done."

Others had a giggle at the video, writing: "The way she said bennachie like benacky is sending me.

Another added: "Omg I lost it at jobby, being Scottish and listening to her say that actually made my cry with laughter."
