An American McDonald's fan has sparked a fierce debate after she revealed she thinks food from the fast-food chain is nicer in the UK than in her home country.
After collecting her order, the girl from the US, known as @hadenwalker99 on TikTok, sat in her car to give her honest opinion on some of the fast-food restaurants' most-loved delicacies.
In the clip that has been viewed more than 900,000 times on the social media platform, the girl can be seen showing off what she bought, which included a cheeseburger, fries and cheese melt dippers, reports Daily Star.
Going through each item one by one, she says: "Your fries are basically the same.
"However, your burger tastes so much better and I love the water bottles because I can recycle them."
Although she was disappointed that the McGriddles weren't on the menu, she says the cheese melt dippers in the UK redeemed things.
In the on-screen caption, she said the burgers in England tasted "healthier" than the ones in the US, and after taking a huge bite, she gushed: "They're so good."
Since being posted, the video has received 145,000 likes and over 1,200 comments.
The controversial statement sparked a heated divide among foodies.
One said: "Wrong on that front. America's fries are superior when compared side by side."
Another wrote: "It's so much better than American McDonald's sorry not sorry."
"I am... I AM OFFENDED," added a third.
And a fellow American wrote: "THANK YOU! When I lived in London the Big Mac was always so much better than here."
While others mocked her for accidentally calling chips "crisps".
