American editors suffering from 'Iraq fatigue'

A writer for the Chicago Tribune, Timothy J. McNulty, has looked at the data across 12 leading U.S. newspapers and discovered "across-the-board decline in front-page coverage" of Iraq in the past six months. The Washington Post carried the most stories on page one, but there were many fewer than the year before.
