McNulty, has looked at the data across 12 leading U.S. newspapers and discovered "across-the-board decline in front-page coverage" of Iraq in the past six months. The Washington Post carried the most stories on page one, but there were many fewer than the year before. He argues that his analysis suggests a certain amount of "Iraq fatigue" on the part of American editors. (Via chicagotribune.com)
