American chicken wing restaurant opening 'largest UK' branch at The Trafford Centre

An American chicken wing restaurant is opening its largest ever UK branch in the Trafford Centre later this month.

Wingstop, which launched in Texas in 1994, will open at The Orient from next Wednesday (August 31). The buffalo-style chicken wing restaurant aims to ‘serve the World Flavour’ with a selection of classic wings, boneless wings, tenders and burgers.

Cooked to order, customers can pick from ten bold and distinctive flavours ranging from the spicy Atomic or Mango Habanero to the more subtle Garlic Parmesan or Lemon Pepper. There’s also a selection of seasoned sides on offer, including fries, sweet potato fries, and honey mustard slaw.

In addition, deserts include sweet and crunchy churros served alongside Oreo or Biscoff crumble and a choice of sweet milk or caramel dip.

The Trafford Centre location will mark the third Wingstop in Manchester - with restaurants in Salford and Piccadilly - and 24th in the UK. There are 1,500 Wingstop locations worldwide to date.

Barry Cox, Director, Head of Entertainment & Leisure at Pradera Lateral, added: “We are delighted to welcome Wingstop, the award-winning concept, to our evolving food and beverage offering at Trafford Centre.

“This will be its 24th UK location and we look forward to supporting the opening of the restaurant with a unique launch event to attract loyal and new customers to Trafford offering an all-round, extraordinary shopping and leisure experience.”

Opening on August 31, the Trafford Centre restaurant will be open between 11am-10pm Monday-Saturday and 11am-7pm on Sunday.
