America's Got Talent star Jay Jay Phillips has passed away of Covid-19.
The 30-year-old has died after contracting the virus last month before Thanksgiving, a family member told TMZ.
Jay Jay's body was reportedly found by his beloved mum after he 'took a turn' over the festive period.
The rocker's family had reportedly urged the former America's Got Talent star to seek treatment.
However, the 30-year-old continued to insist that he simply needed more sleep.
While he was isolating after contracting Covid, Jay Jay's nearest and dearest continued to check up on him amid his illness.
However, they began to worry when they failed to hear back from his after November 24, according to TMZ.
Sadly, when the star's girlfriend and mum went to check on him, they discovered that Jay Jay had passed away after contracting the virus.
His grieving family have since confirmed that the star had yet to receive his vaccine.
The former America's Got Talent star had been planning on getting the jab, but fell ill before he had the chance to.
Heartbreakingly, the late star's father has also been struck down with Covid.
His beloved dad, who lived with the TV star before his untimely death, is currently in hospital where he is breathing with the help of a ventilator.
Jay Jay first shot to fame thanks to his wild hairstyle when he appeared on season 4 of the talent competition.
After being eliminated, he made a return eight years later for season 12.
Unfortunately, he didn't make it to the final, and he was ultimately eliminated in the Judge Cuts quarterfinals.
