America’s Attorney General has a weird and cringey nickname for Donald Trump and it is creeping people out

Attorney General Pam Bondi has caught some flak for her weird habit of addressing Donald Trump in a rather odd manner. The behavior was called out by critics online who labeled it “creepy” and “weird.”

Bondi, who recently helped Trump bury the Epstein files, attended the recent three-hour cabinet meeting which saw every single member of the team shower praise upon the U.S. leader regardless of whether or not it was really deserved. The whole display was sickening to see and akin to something you’d expect to witness in North Korea, not the U.S. Regardless, Bondi’s bootlicking in particular caught some attention as viewers noticed that she used the title “president” as if it were Trump’s first name.

Pam Bondi’s Nickname for Trump is weird

Unlike her peers, Bondi simply referred to Trump as “president,” not Mr. President, or President Trump like most others. It’s a small detail but one that hasn’t gone unnoticed. She’s made a habit of addressing Trump in such a way in the past and has been bashed for it before.

On X, those who paid attention to the cabinet meeting questioned why the Attorney General was referring to Trump in such an odd way. One asked, “Am I the only one who wants to know why Pam Bondi always calls Trump ” President”? Not Mr. President.” Another added, “Every time Pam Bondi responds calling him “President” and not “President Trump” or “Mr. President” I cringe so hard,” while a third claimed “It sounds disrespectful.”

It seems the choice to simply use “president” when referring to Trump sounded childish, informal, and a little bit creepy according to most. It’s not hard to see why as it’s certainly not a normal way to refer to the president, especially when she did it so often. Whenever she addressed him during the long meeting she would call him by that name, she can be heard saying “Thank you, president” after Trump turned to her at one point.

The whole cabinet meeting was just bizarre

This is just one example of the many weird things that happened during the three-hour plus cabinet meeting. It seems everyone in attendance was competing to brown nose the president as much as possible. During one particularly cringe-inducing moment Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins told Trump that he was going to be the next George Washington or Abraham Lincoln.

It seems Bondi’s nickname was another example of a cabinet member desperately trying to butter up the president by referring to him by title alone. It likely worked too as we all know how much Trump loves flattery.
