Actress Ameesha Patel started her Bollywood journey with ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ co-starring Hrithik Roshan in 2000. While her debut was a big hit, reportedly it was Kareena Kapoor Khan who was first in talks for the film. While it clearly didn’t work out with Bebo, Ameesha was roped in and the rest is history. Ever since then, reports of their alleged feud has surfaced in media from time to time.
Reacting to these reports, Ameesha recently opened up about her bond with Kareena. Talking to Pinkvilla, she clarified that she has no enemies. Praising Kareena for her performances, she asserted that she has nothing against her and went on to reveal how she tells her closest friend about Bebo’s ‘brilliant job’.
Recalling how she was asked by the media to refute alleged negative things spoken by Kareena about her, she revealed that she never commented on it. She further said that she will only speak positive things about the ‘3 Idiots’ actress because she doesn’t know her enough to talk against her. “All I know is her work and what I see of her, I think is great. If she has certain opinions about me, it’s fine, let her be entitled to them and I don’t even know whether she even said it or the media escalated it,” she added.
Ameesha shares a good bonding with Kareena’s father Randhir. She went on to claim that whenever Ameesha and Kareena see each other publicly, the two don’t share enmity at all as they are quite cordial.
On the work front, Ameesha will be reuniting with Sunny Deol for their upcoming film ‘Gadar 2’.
