AHMEDABAD: Two residential apartments were sealed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Monday, and the civic body demolished dwellings for lack of building use permission (BU) in the East Zone.
Some 14 dwellings were demolished between Nigam Flats and Tirthya Apartments freeing 3,000 sq feet of space. The dwellings were made illegally on municipal property. Three sheds were demolished in Nikol near Vasudev private industrial estate freeing 2,600 sq feet of space.
