Emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision on Great Lime Road.
North East Ambulance Service received a call of a collision between a car and motorcyclist at around 6.15pm on Great Lime Road.
Northumbria Police are also at the scene.

The ambulance service has confirmed they are treating a patient with neck and back injuries.
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 6.15pm of a collision between a car and a motorbike.
"An ambulance crew is currently at the scene treating a patient with neck and back injuries."
