A young girl was reportedly injured when a fridge door struck her face at a garden centre near Bristol.
An ambulance was called to the Cadbury Garden Centre in Congresbury at about 2.15pm on Sunday (March 6). An eyewitness told Bristol Live that they were at a till at the time and heard a series of loud noises, followed by screaming and shouting.
They went over to the source of the commotion along with a crowd of customers to find that a "big heavy glass fridge door had come off", and had landed on the face of the child, according to the shopper. The witness said the girl, who they estimated to be about three years old, was left with facial injuries and that the incident "has left my family quite shocked".

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 2.16pm on Sunday March 6 to an incident in Congresbury and sent a rapid response vehicle." The ambulance service did not provide any further details about the nature of the incident, nor who was involved.
A staff member at the garden centre confirmed that there had been an incident on Sunday but asked Bristol Live to contact Blue Diamond, which own the business, for comment. Blue Diamond has not yet responded to a request for comment.
