Two drivers walked away with only minor injuries after this dramatic collision at a road junction last night.
Emergency services were called to Wavertree following reports of a crash at the junction of Rocky Lane and Queens Drive.
Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 9.27pm, while Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service also had a crew in attendance.
Two vehicles - a blue Land Rover Discovery and a black Nissan Juke - were involved in the collision.
The impact left the Land Rover on its roof and debris scattered on the road.
Two people - a man in his mid-20s and a woman in her mid-40s - were treated by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries, but did not require any further treatment.
No further action was taken by police, but the area where the crash happened remained closed to traffic until shortly before midnight to allow for the vehicles to be recovered and the road to be cleared of debris.
