Ambulance called after man takes ill in Belfast city centre

An ambulance was called to Belfast city centre after a man took ill on Monday.

The ambulance service responded to a 999 call and attended the scene after 11am.

The man was treated at the scene.

An ambulance service spokesman said: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 11.21am on Monday February 17 2020 following reports of an incident at Royal Avenue, Belfast.

 

"NIAS despatched one Emergency crew to the scene. Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, no-one was taken from the scene."
