A Derby commercial property has added a new graduate surveyor to its ranks.
Will Speed, a recent graduate from Oxford Brookes University where he achieved an honours degree in planning and property development, has joined Salloway Property Consultants.
He is now working towards chartered status within the company.
Will said: "My ambition is to be a chartered surveyor within the not so distant future, as well as improving my skills and increasing my knowledge on the local property market and its people.
"Signing for them (Salloway Property Consultants) will enable me to progress my career while learning from some of the most experienced surveyors around.
"Spending four years at Oxford Brookes studying planning and property development cemented my interest in property and provided me with a great platform from which to launch my career.
"I know the East Midlands well having grown up here and have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed work experience with firms in several sectors."
Managing director Steve Salloway said: “We have known about Will for some time. For such a young man, he already has a wide knowledge of our industry and we believe he will be a major asset to the team."
