Amber Heard wasn't pleased to have J.K. Rowling discussing her personal life.
The actress posted her joint divorce statement with Johnny Depp, in full, to Instagram on Thursday after Rowling said she was "happy" to have Depp star in the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts" film despite his ex-wife's accusation of domestic abuse.
"For the record, this was our FULL joint statement. To pick and choose certain lines and quote them out of context, is just not right," Heard wrote, along with an image of the statement. "Women, continue to stand up and stay strong."
The "London Fields" star seemed to be taking a shot at Rowling's quote, in which she said both Heard and Depp wanted to move forward.
"The agreements that have been put in place to protect the privacy of two people, both of whom have expressed a desire to get on with their lives, must be respected," a statement on the author's website read.
"Based on our understanding of the circumstances, the filmmakers and I are not only comfortable sticking with our original casting, but genuinely happy to have Johnny playing a major character in the movies."
Heard and Depp finalized their divorce in January and the actress received a $7 million settlement and planned to donate it to charities as she received it.
She's already donated $350,000 to the American Civil Liberties Union, according to TMZ.
"Amber's commitment to protecting victims of domestic violence and helping sick children is her life's work. Her recent PSA on domestic violence does not violate her settlement agreement with Johnny," Heard's attorney Pierce O'Donnell told Us Weekly in August.
"She will continue to lend her voice to the rising chorus of women speaking out about this terrible scourge on the American family."
