Amber Gill opens up about her success after ITV's Love Island - and becoming a millionaire

Amber Gill has opened up about her success after starring on hit ITV2 dating show Love Island and revealed she is now a millionaire.

The Love Island winner, 22, started raking in big money after being crowned the reality show's winner in the summer, but now the former beautician has revealed how she hit the million pound mark.

During an interview with The Sun, Amber gushed about living the high life.

The Gateshead lass said: "I always told my family I'd be a millionaire and now I am. People always say 'wow' when I walk into a room."

She admitted to forgetting that she's "famous all the time", but confessed she recently splurged some of her winnings on a luxurious new London penthouse.

The TV personality had an exciting few months after leaving the sun-soaked Mallorca villa and quickly secured a high income with a lucrative £1m contract from her MissPap clothing collection.

Amber's seven-figure deal was believed to have made her the fastest Love Island millionaire, and she is thought to have made hundreds of thousands of pounds more on other various collaborations.

In addition, she was estimated to make £10,000 on each paid Instagram post after coming out of the villa.

The 'millionaire' also spoke to The Sun about her relationship with the rest of the 2019 Love Island class and she hinted at tensions as she brushed off suggestions of a Christmas Party.

She said: "I think holding a Christmas Love Island party might be a hard one to organise because there are different people that don't like to hang out with the same few people that we do."

Amber won Love Island this summer alongside Irish rugby player Greg O'Shea.

However winning the show didn't appear to keep the couple together as Greg reportedly dumped his former flame by text just five weeks after they returned home, reports The Mirror .

The couple claimed they were too busy to pursue their romance and "haven't had enough quality time" with each other since leaving the villa.
