Love Island winner Amber Gill got emotional after discussing her split from fellow show winner Greg O'Shea at the TV Choice Awards.
The Gateshead beautician teared up as she thanked fans and friends for the support they have given her since the split last week.
The pair called it a day just five weeks after winning the £50,000 prize money together - with Greg ending the relationship through a text message.
Amber had been due to travel to Dublin to reunite with him on the day that the news broke.
Speaking on the red carpet, she got emotional as he spoke about the break up, which happened just a few days ago.
She said: "I think because I was there for so long I had no idea what I was coming out to, so the amount of love and support I've received has been amazing."
She added: "I think I went in the villa with about 4,000 Instagram followers then I came out with 2 million and now I've got 3 million and it's crazy and everyone recognises you, but I'm so happy.
"It makes me happy that I'm making people happy."
Amber said that she's currently living with co-star Anna Vakili and that she's still regularly in touch with Ovie and Yewande Biala, as well as most of the others.
