Love Island 2017 star Amber Davies has admitted that she is not in touch with Kem Cetinay, despite the pair winning the series and the nation’s hearts.
Speaking to Fabulous Magazine, Amber has admitted that she and Kem have not spoken since their break-up in December 2017, just months after leaving the villa.
Talking about their 6-month-long romance, Amber said: “We don’t see each other, we don’t speak.
“I wish him well, but I don’t know him.”
The former Love Island babe, who comes from North Wales, is currently starring in West End musical 9 to 5 as well as filming behind the scenes for her own reality show.
She continues to do personal appearances at events alongside other former Love Island cast members, and is rumoured to rake in a staggering £5,000 an hour.
The former dancer also landed a £500,000 contract with clothing brand MotelRocks within days of winning Love Island, and she and Kem briefly guest presented Good Morning Britain.
Amber has previously admitted that she and Kem “picked money over love”, leading to the breakdown of their relationship.
In 2018, she admitted that they each chose to further their careers using their new-found fame, adding: “It wasn't our fault we didn't work, for me it he was the right person at the completely wrong time."
This year’s Love Islanders have already seen their relationships under strain, with Amy Hart sensationally quitting the show after being left heartbroken when dumped by Curtis Pritchard.
The 26-year-old required extensive aftercare and therapy from show bosses before she was flown back to the UK to be with her family.
