Police locate two missing Toowoomba children 'safe and well'

Queensland police car.

Queensland police have located two children who were at the centre of an amber alert.

The four-year-old girl and eight-year-old boy went missing from Toowoomba at 11:50am yesterday.

They were located safe and well at 1.30pm today with a 30-year-old woman.

Earlier, Queensland police had issued an amber alert for the children who officers said may have been at significant risk.
