Three children taken from Apple Tree Creek near Childers found safe

Police were looking for a man known to the children.

Queensland police have found three children reported missing from Apple Tree Creek near Childers in Queensland.

Police said two girls, aged three and seven, and a boy aged six were taken from the rural town earlier today.

They were found safe and well a short time ago.

Police have thanked members of the public for their assistance.
