DALLAS _ An Amber Alert was issued Sunday for two girls who may have been abducted by a man who has been named a person of interest in the suspicious death of their mother, Round Rock, Texas, police said.
Police are looking for Terry Allen Miles in connection with the abduction of Lilianais Victoria Cake Griffith, 14, and Luluvioletta Mariposo Bandera-Magret, 7. Law enforcement believe the children are in grave or immediate danger.
Earlier Sunday, officers responded to a welfare concern at a home in the 2600 block of Leslie Court in Round Rock and found the mother of the two children dead inside, police said. The woman and two girls lived at the home.
Miles, 44, was last heard from in Round Rock and may be headed to Louisiana. He was driving a gray 2017 Hyundai Accent hatchback with Texas license plate JGH 9845 and a white sticker on the upper right-hand corner of the rear window.
Miles was a roommate at the home, and police said they knew of no other relationship between him and the girls' mother.
Lilianais is described as a 5-foot white teen who weighs about 100 pounds. She has light brown hair, brown eyes, braces and a stud on the right side of her nose.
Luluvioletta is 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 75 pounds. She has curly brown hair and brown eyes.
Miles is a 6-2 white man who weighs about 200 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes, a beard and wears glasses.
A description of their clothing was not available.
Anyone with information is asked to call Round Rock police at 512-218-5516 or 911. If found, Miles should not be approached, police said.
