Amazon van robbed by five hooded thugs who run off with sacks filled with orders

An Amazon driver has been robbed by five hooded thugs who were spotted on CCTV running off with sackfuls of people's orders.

At least one of the thieves was waving a knife in the footage, which captured the raid in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Captured from the a nearby house, the driver can be seen checking something on the his side of the van

The first thug is then seen creeping alongside the other side of the vehicle checking the driver is not looking.

He then slides open the apparently unlocked door on his side of the van and his accomplices emerge to empty it.

Although there is no sound on the video, the gang seem to be shouting threats at the driver who remains rooted to the spot in fear.

At least one of the yobs is seen brandishing a knife before they flee down the street with their haul.

Amazon customers also reacted with fury when the footage was shared on social media.

One stormed: "This is disgraceful! Glad the driver is ok but what about the items people have bought and waiting for?

"That is not ok for these scroats to just run off with them.

"It's not the point that Amazon will replace them."

Another posted: "Can believe this sort of thing happens and we are going to be city of culture.

"Wow don't blame the delivery guy.. he gets a pittance for delivering, why would he want to go after FIVE total s***s."
