Amazon has unveiled a brand new Echo speaker, equipped with its smart assistant, Alexa.
The new Echo features a spherical design, and was unveiled during Amazon's Devices event this evening.

The smart speaker brings together the best of Echo and Echo Plus in one device.
It features Dolby stereo sound, a built-in Zigbee hub and Sidewalk Bridge capabiities.
Best of all, it has a pretty wallet-friendly price tag of just £89.99 ($99.99).
The new Echo was unveiled alongside a new Echo Dot and Echo Dot with Clock.
The Echo Dot also has a sleek spherical design with a fabric finish, while the Echo Dot with clock features a simple LED display so you can see everyday information at a glance.
Finally, Amazon unveiled two adorable Echo Dot Kids Edition speakers, which come in fun Panda and Tiger designs.
The Echo Dot is available for pre-order for $49.99, while the Echo Dot with Clock will retail for $59.99.
