Amazon troll Man United fans with Jose Mourinho billboard following launch of Spurs documentary

The start of the 2020/21 Premier League season may only be just over a week away but football fans are already glued to their televisions.

That is because the brand new Amazon documentary about Tottenham Hotspur - 'All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur' - has just launched on Amazon Prime, allowing supporters the chance to see a unique insight into the way a Premier League club operates behind the scenes.

Amazon's documentaries on football clubs are becoming one of the most successful sports programmes on TV nowadays, with the series' about both Leeds United and Sunderland proving to be roaring successes.

Alasdair Gold on Spurs' Europa League draw

Now, of course, Spurs are the latest club to be under the spotlight, with the documentary covering the fortunes of Spurs' roller coaster 2019/20 campaign. After starting the campaign off the back of losing the Uefa Champions League final, Spurs ended up having to secure a result against London rivals Crystal Palace on the final day of the 2019/20 Premier League season, as well as hoping that other results went their way, just to secure a Europa League spot.

As well as that, Spurs underwent a change in management, of course, with Jose Mourinho replacing Mauricio Pochettino at the helm.

When Mourinho took over the reins at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs found themselves in the bottom half of the Premier League table. But despite the odd bump in the road, he managed to secure a Europa League spot for the forthcoming campaign, once again highlighting his managerial qualities.

Whilst Spurs were left to settle for a spot in the Europa League, Manchester United, Mourinho's former club, secured a Champions League place, securing third-place ahead of Chelsea.

Despite United having enjoyed, with respect, a better season than Spurs last term, United's fans were often talking about Spurs and making digs about their former manager.

Now, in an attempt to hit back at them, Amazon have very sneakily placed a 'All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur' billboard directly opposite Old Trafford.

The billboard, featuring a picture of Mourinho, says: "Ever wondered what your ex is up to?"

And it is safe to say that the billboard quickly caught the attention of several United fans on Twitter.

One wrote: "It will end in tears."

Another posted: "Phenomenal."

Another added: "This would be good if they were actually better than us."

'All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur' launched earlier this week and is available to watch now on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
