Amazon staff make a special delivery to West Lothian primary school

Pupils and staff at Westfield Primary School received a special delivery this week when the team from Amazon’s Delivery Station in Bathgate stopped by with a £1000 donation.

Westfield Primary School on Lomond View received the donation as part of the ‘Amazon In The Community’ programme, whereby the company supports the communities around its operating locations across the UK. The school plans to use the donation to upgrade its audio-visual equipment for plays and other productions.

To celebrate the donation, members of Amazon’s Bathgate Delivery Station team visited the school.

Delivery station manager, Scott Cartwright, said: “Westfield Primary is a great school that provides a wonderful learning environment for the children in our community. We’re pleased to provide this donation and on behalf of the team at Amazon in Bathgate, I’d like to say a big thank you to the school for inviting us down to meet the pupils and teachers.”
