Amazon slashes price of Apple Airpods in surprise sale ahead of Black Friday

All the talk since the launch of the latest iPhone models in September has been around handsets and must-have accessories.

But one thing every iPhone user should consider buying is a pair of Apple Airpods.

Not everyone is interested in the pricey, noise-cancelling, Airpods Pro - which will set you back an eye-watering £249 at the Apple store. Although, if you watch the video at the top of this article, they are very appealing.

However, there is a great alternative in the ever-faithful Airpods Second Generation, which won’t hurt your pocket.

The small Bluetooth-powered earbuds let you listen to music, podcasts and make calls without the hassle of old-fashioned wires.

Amazon has slashed an incredible £30 off the price of Apple AirPods (with charging case and USB cable), bringing the price from £159 down to £129.

Update - Amazon has currently sold out, but they'll be back in stock on Thursday, November 21. You can still buy the Apple Airpods for £129 and they'll be dispatched on that date.
