Amazon slash the price of Kindle e-readers by up to 30%

If you're planning to start reading more during lockdown, then we have some good news.

Online giant Amazon has reduced the price of some of its coveted Kindle devices by up to 29%.

The Kindle is now £49.99 - down from £69.99, while the Kindle Paperwhite is priced from £99.99 after being slashed from £119.99.

Available in black or white, the cheapest Kindle boasts a glare-free display and a number of special features.

It also has a built-in adjustable front light, so you can use it at any time of the day both indoors and outdoors.

The Kindle Paperwhite comes in black or twilight blue and features a 6inch high resolution display.

It offers 8GB of storage to hold more of your favourite audiobooks, magazines and more. It's also waterproof, so you can even enjoy reading it in the bath.

And one single battery charge will last you weeks not hours, meaning you can use it as much as you want without having to worry about draining the battery.

Also reduced in the sale is the brand new Kindle Kids Edition - which is down from £99.99 to £74.99.

The device is perfect for parents who want to entertain their children without the TV and comes with a colourful kid-friendly cover.

It also comes with one year of Fire for Kids Unlimited, which allows kids to explore thousands of popular titles and series like Harry Potter.

The offer was originally posted by a shopper on deals sharing site hotukdeals.com.

If you want to get your hands on a reduced Kindle e-reader, be quick as the offer won't be around for much longer.
