Amazon shoppers love this Himalayan salt lamp that helps you get a good night's sleep - now over 30% off

If you've been struggling to get a decent night's sleep in lockdown, then you might want to try a Himalayan crystal salt lamp.

Carved out of pink salt crystals, these decorative lights are believed to have several health benefits - which include purifying the air in homes and helping you sleep more soundly.

And you can currently get your hands on one from Amazon without breaking the bank.

The online giant has slashed the price of the best-selling Needs&Gifts Himalayan Crystal Rock Salt Lamp to £16.99 - down from £24.99. This means you'll be saving 32%.

The Himalayan Crystal Rock Salt Lamp has been given more than 9,000 five-star reviews, with one person saying: "Bought it, plugged it in and it had a lovely glow and I had the best nights sleep I had for ages."

Another impressed shopper claimed it is "Definitely calming and therapeutic to put on at night before bed. "

While a third added: "Not sure if directly related but have had a great nights sleep since i had it, also better than a normal light in the bedroom for relaxing."

Crafted from 100% pure and natural Himalayan salt, the lamp comes complete with an electric fitting cable. Colours vary from pale to dark pink through to orange or orangey red.

When switched on and heated up, the salt lamp promises to release negative salt ions that help purify air and increase seratonin in the brain.

Whilst there isn't enough scientific evidence to support these claims, many reviewers have been praising the light for improving their sleep, along with providing an ambient glow.

One user said that it "glows a beautiful calming orange colour."

Another wrote: "The lamp gives a lovely glow and is just the right size (approx 20cm tall). "

The Needs&Gifts Himalayan Crystal Rock Salt Lamp is currently reduced from £24.99 to £16.99 - a saving of 32%.

However, the deal is likely to end soon - so it's best to get a move on if you don't want to miss out.
