Amazon shopper expecting parcel finds 'rude surprise' written on delivery note

A shopper was left in hysterics after his Amazon parcel came complete with a 'rude surprise'.

The company's delivery driver had attempted to deliver a parcel to the customer's address in Merseyside , however found that no-one was home.

As per company policy, if a customer is not in when a courier attempts to deliver an item to your address, they will leave a card, explaining why and how you can collect your item.

Usually, the item is left with a neighbour, delivered to a local post office or store or left in a customer's chosen 'safe place'.

However, one ECHO reader was given a laugh when he received a note regarding the item's whereabouts.

He said: "Best-ever description of where the delivery driver left my Amazon package today."

The delivery driver had ticked a box stating 'we left it in a safe place you told us about' before writing underneath 'behind whilly bin' in capital letters.

This is not the first time Amazon delivery drivers have been cheeky when leaving a note.

In 2015, one Amazon driver's note went viral after he turned to a customer's neighbour to deliver a parcel.

However, things didn't appear to go well as they were forced to post a ‘you weren’t in note’.

Ticking the ‘we still have your package’, the delivery driver wrote underneath in brackets, ‘you have unpleasant neighbours'.
