Amazon’s Alexa+ has launched in the UK. Here’s what to know

Amazon United Kingdom OpenTable Europe

Alexa+ – a new and improved version of Amazon’s voice assistant – has arrived in the UK before its launch in the rest of Europe.
The upgraded Alexa is integrated with apps like OpenTable and is able to make reservations, manage your calendar, and order a takeaway.
It has been designed to be more personable than the standard Alexa and can understand follow-up questions and remember details from previous conversations.
UK customers are able to get Alexa+ from 19 March as part of an invite-only early access programme, but can gain immediate access by buying one of Amazon’s new Echo devices, which range from £99.99 to £219.99.
Existing Amazon Prime subscribers get Alexa+ for free, while non-subscribers will pay £19.99 per month.
