Amazon Prime users can unlock blockbuster movies and box sets for free

Amazon Prime subscribers can now unlock a load of blockbuster movies and box sets for free.

And it's all thanks to the streaming giant's new deal with Lionsgate+ .

The premium Prime Video channel is offering viewers free access to its titles for a sizeable 30 days.

This has been extended from its usual seven-day trial in celebration of StarzPlay being rebranded as Lionsgate+.

The service usually costs £5.99 a month and offers exclusive access to a number of hit boxsets as well as popular movies.

Lionsgate+ subscribers can enjoy much-loved series such as satirical black comedy-drama The Great (starring Dakota Fanning and Nicholas Hoult), historical epic Outlander and crime series Power Book.

The channel is also home to historical drama The Serpent Queen. This period drama revolving around the life of Queen of France Catherine de'Medici has an impressive 100 per cent score on reviews site Rotten Tomatoes.

The service also has a diverse range of movies including horror thriller Halloween, comedy drama Magic Mike and Tarantino's violent crime masterpiece Reservoir Dogs among others.

Anyone undecided about the service can sign-up for a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial .

And don't forget next week Amazon is holding its second Prime Day sale of the year, offering subscribers exclusive access to deals and discounts.

The next Prime Day sale is taking place on Tuesday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 12, and to whet your appetite, several deals have already gone live - including free access to Music Unlimited, Kindle Unlimited and discounts on the Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick and more.
