Amazon Prime Day 2025: We reveal the key dates and best deals to buy now

It’s about that time of year again. Amazon has released the dates of its famous Prime Day sale, and there’s a surprise this year - instead of the usual 48 hours, Prime members will get a whole 96 hours to shop the retailer’s exclusive discounts.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?

The dates to know? July 8 - 11.

What’s new this year?

But that’s not all: there’s more newness in store. There will be a new section called Today’s Big Deals, which will showcase daily themes, plus a New Deal Drop feature that launches at midnight every night of the sale for limited-time offers.

If you’re after tailored recommendations, turn to Rufus, Amazon’s AI shopping assistant, who can answer specific questions about Prime Day and make deal suggestions based on your needs, saving you hours of trawling across millions of deals.

Who can access Amazon Prime Day deals?

As always, this sale is exclusive to Amazon Prime membership holders only, so if you’ve yet to sign up, there’s never been a better time to do it.

Prime members get more than access to the sale’s exclusive prices and express delivery. They will also unlock a world of streaming, gaming, reading, audio and entertainment through the various arms of the Amazon universe. Heretic, Hugh Grant’s chilling thriller, has just been listed on Prime Video, free for subscribers, while millions of playlists and podcasts can be found on Amazon Music.

Find the full list of benefits - including discount Odeon cinema tickets and Deliveroo perks - right here.

How much is Amazon Prime membership?

All this will set you back just £8.99 a month (or £95 a year if you’d rather pay annually). Students get a sweeter deal at £4.49 per month or £47.49 per year. If you’re still not sure, why not sign up for a 30-day free trial to test the service before you commit?

What kind of deals were there last year?

Aside from Black Friday, Prime Day is the biggest sale on Amazon’s calendar, so expect discounts to be deep and wide-reaching.

Big-ticket items generally perform well, with TVs, home security systems, kitchen appliances, and cleaning machines seeing hundreds wiped off their RRP. If you’re holding out on buying a new mattress, Amazon Prime Day is a great time to make your money go further with models from Simba and Emma.

This year, we’ve been promised that big brands like Bose, De' Longhi, Dyson, Lego, Shark, CeraVe, Ninja, and Sonos will all be in the mix.

Are there any discounts available at Amazon now?

This is Amazon we’re talking about - of course there are. If you’re looking for inspiration to add to your shopping basket, we’ve found the best deals to snap up right now.

Shark FlexBreeze Hybrid Indoor & Outdoor Fan

For small spaces that desperately need cooling in hot weather, Shark’s FlexStyle hits the sweet spot. The multi-use model can be used wirelessly and outside, bringing cooling breezes to any part of the house, or indeed, a sweltering balcony. You can even attach a hose pipe to create a misting spray to refresh you on the hottest days,

The design turns a floor pedestal fan into a desk one, meaning you can use it on practically all surfaces and the battery life is impressive, going 24 hours on the lowest speed.

The most impressive feature? The noise - or rather, the lack of it. Even at top speed, you’d barely know this was on.

The only downside? The oscillation range which turns 90°. That said, stick it in a corner of the room or table and it will push cool breezes in all the right places.
