Amazon Prime Day 2023: Save on a Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite

Gamers can save on a new Nintendo Switch thanks to Amazon Prime Day.

Amazon Prime Day takes place today and tomorrow, with a range of savings available for Prime members. Some games and accessories have been reduced by 50% or more.

Prime membership currently costs £95 a year or £8.99 a month, although you can sign up for a 30 day free trial. There are deals to be found on the standard Switch and Switch Lite, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S consoles.

The Switch Lite can currently be bought for around £5-£15 less than its RRP depending on the colour you choose. The Lite is a lighter, more compact version of the standard Switch, and comes with many of the same features. However, it supports handheld gaming only, unlike the ordinary Switch which can be played on a TV or Tabletop.

Current deals for the LIte by colour are as follows:

  • Coral - £195.00, reduced from £209.99

  • Yellow - £187.00, reduced from £199.99

  • Blue - £188.00, reduced from £199.99

  • Grey - £205.50, reduced from £211.99

Limited editions for the standard Switch have also been reduced in price. The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Limited Edition features a special design from the game, including the Hylian Crest from the series on the front of the dock. It is available from £302.84, discounted from £319.99.

There is a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Switch too. The Koraidon and Miraidon are featured on the glossy front side of the white system’s dock, and a design inspired by the series’ iconic Poké Ball is featured on the back. It has been reduced from £319.99 to £298.50. Please note that both of these consoles do not come with the games they are tied too - they have to be purchased separately.
