Amazon has launched a new 'kid-proof' tablet which it'll replace for free if it gets smashed.
The new Fire HD 8 Kids Edition tablet comes in blue, pink or purple and is protected by a heavy-duty case with its own flip-out stand.
It's being released on June 3, but can be pre-ordered on the website now.
The tech giant says the holder is 'designed to protect against drops and bumps with a perfect fit in hands' for kids. And they promise that 'if it breaks, return it and we'll replace it for free' under the two-year 'worry-free' guarantee.
The tablet costs £139.99, much cheaper than similar products from some rivals, and comes with a year’s free Fire for Kids Unlimited subscription.
The subscription gives kids access to thousands of popular apps, games, videos, books and audiobooks, including content from Disney, Nickelodeon and Sesame Street.
With an 8in high definition display, is faster than last year’s models and has more battery life.
Families can stream through Wi-Fi or view downloaded content on the go with 32 GB of internal storage.
Parents can also create screen-time limits and set educational goals remotely from their smartphone using Amazon Parent Dashboard.
