Amazon has announced two new home security cameras that run on two AA batteries for a whopping two years.
The cameras, called Blink Indoor and Blink Outdoor, boast a sleek design and offer 1080p HD video, infrared night vision, motion detection and two-way audio.
Users can control the cameras via a smartphone app, on which they can see a live view of their home, receive motion detection alerts, and use two-way audio.

While the cameras can run for two years on 2 AA batteries, Amazon also offers a £29.99 battery expansion pack which can fit four AA batteries, and extends the battery life to four years.
The cameras are also Alexa compatible, allowing you to arm and disarm the cameras or watch recorded clips simply by asking Amazon’s smart assistant.
Blink Indoor is available for pre-order today at £79.99, while the Blink Outdoor can be pre-ordered at £99.99.
Amazon offers a cloud storage option costing from £2.50/month, or a local storage option, with no monthly fees.
