If you haven’t already become a Covid-cliché then listen up as this might be the one for you. From tie-dyeing and baking, to shaving your head and puzzles - these have become the go-to activities for lockdown and Amazon has a new jigsaw that will keep you busy for a few more weeks.
Amazon is now selling a 1000-piece puzzle, which to us already sounds like a challenge but to make it even harder, it’s all the same colour.
The puzzle is priced between £36.64 and £40.28 depending on the delivery option you choose, there are two different colours to choose from by a company called Beverly who are stocking it on the marketplace website.
The colours available are all-black or all-white. So if you count yourself as a jigsaw enthusiast, this could be the one for you as you have to go off the shape alone with, rather than colour so good luck.
One Amazon customer who’s already given this one a go has left a review that could help you out - as they explained that some of the pieces feature little patterns on the back which could be a hint as to which pieces fit together. Sneaky.
Most users stressed however that the ‘micro’ nature of this puzzle is what makes it so difficult. So would you give it a go?
This could make a great gift to send to someone who’s particularly bored, someone you want to suffer as they try and complete this with isolation friends or your family to give a whirl.
Good job we have all this extra time on our hands, ey?
Sales of jigsaws and puzzles have risen since the beginning of April by a staggering 370% and recently, Kodak released a whopping 51,300 piece puzzle - hands up if you’ve give that one a go?
The world’s largest puzzle represents the 27 ‘wonders of the world’ - including London’s Tower Bridge, Machu Picchu in Peru and the Statue of Liberty in New York.
Each individual ‘wonder’ puzzle has 1,900 pieces to complete and create a 39inch by 24inch - once all together it measures a staggering 16.47 square metres in total.
