Amazon hiring more than 50 staff members in Northern Ireland for seasonal roles

Online retailer Amazon has announced it is hiring more than 50 staff members in Northern Ireland to help serve customers during the busy festive season.

The recruitment drive includes 20,000 seasonal positions across the UK working in its network of fulfilment centres, sortation centres, and delivery stations.

Roles in Northern Ireland will be based at the Amazon delivery station in Belfast, with pay for operations roles beginning at a minimum of £10 per hour, rising to £11 per hour in some parts of the UK.

Amazon's Belfast Delivery Station Manager, David Hughes, said they're looking forward to welcoming back those regular seasonal staff members while welcoming new faces to the team.

He said: "We prepare year-round for the festive season, and we’re excited to have more than 50 positions available this year in Northern Ireland. Our seasonal associates play an integral role in helping us deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.

"We look forward to welcoming back seasonal workers who return year-after-year to Amazon and to welcome new faces to the team, many of whom will continue on to full-time roles with the company after the festive period.”
