Amazon hiring more than 100 seasonal workers in Glasgow as part of major recruitment drive

Amazon has announced it is hiring 20,000 seasonal workers across the UK, including more than 100 in its Baillieston centre.

The position will be based at the corporate giant's fulfilment centres, sortation centres and delivery stations.

Pay for Operations roles starts at a minimum of £10.00 per hour, rising to £11.10 per hour in some parts of the UK for all full-time, part-time, temporary, or seasonal roles in Amazon’s fulfilment centres, sort centres and delivery stations.

Amazon’s Baillieston Senior Delivery Station Manager, Scott Cartwright said: “We prepare year-round for the festive season, and we’re excited to have more than 100 positions available this year in Baillieston.
