Amazon has nothing on John Lewis' Samsung Galaxy S8 Tab deal - as high street retailer will save you £400

The battle of online sales is still ongoing as we hit day two of Amazon's Prime Day sale, influencing rival shops to drop their prices too. As John Lewis beats the Prime retailer at its own game, offering one Samsung device for £400 cheaper.

John Lewis has taken £250 off the price of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, one of Samsung's 2022 releases. The 128GB device is now £949 under its special offer, running ahead of the exact same model offered on Amazon's site which is priced at £1,349.

The models are exactly the same, both with the same storage, 8GB of RAM processing and a 14.6-inch display screen. So before shoppers race to find the best-looking deals on the loud Prime site, it's worth shopping around first.

Fitted with Samsung's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra models have quickly become popular options, if not the most popular, for anyone looking for a non-Apple device. Those who buy the Ultra version, as opposed to the standard S8 Tablet will also get an S Pen thrown in too.

Whilst shopping around we found the 256GB Tab S8 Ultra model, however, cheaper at Amazon than John Lewis (who have seemingly left this device out of their sale). Amazon has taken more than £400 off this device, which will only be available to buy until just before midnight today where it'll jump back up to £1,449.

Once Amazon's Prime sale has ended then John Lewis will overtake Prime once again offering the same 256GB model for £1,049, another £400 cheaper.

In fact, as the Prime Day sale approaches the final couple of hours it's becoming hard to know which products are a good deal or not. Which is why we hark on about the price checker CamelCamelCamel, which shows a full price history for all products listed to Amazon.
