Amazon Echo Dot now available for less than £10

The Amazon Echo Dot is on sale for less than £10 for the first time since Black Friday.

The online giant's flagship device is usually the first to be cut in price when Amazon wants to lure in customers but a price of £10 is the cheapest it has been for several months.

As more people are at home during lockdown Amazon has decided to offer a home entertainment deal. You can get the device for £9.99 if you also subscribe to two months of Amazon's music streaming service. The Echo Dot is currently priced at £49.99 on the site if you buy it stand-alone.

Amazon's Music Unlimited gives users access to 60 million songs, ad-free and on-demand and you can link it up with your smart devices and Echo Dot to listen wherever you want.

You can download playlists, songs and albums to listen offline so if you've got a bad WiFi or 4G connection you'll still be able to stream your favourite tracks.

The offer is limited, with the total for both the device and Music Unlimited at £29.97 - or £25.97 for Prime members. To be eligible you must be a new subscriber to Amazon Music Unlimited and purchase the Echo device via Amazon.co.uk.

It is not the first time Amazon has cut the price of its flagship home device. On Black Friday last year the Echo Dot was reduced to under £10 for short periods of time.
