It’s turning into quite a week for bargain hunters.
Most non-essential shops across Scotland have now reopened and are offering huge savings in an attempt to whip up interest from shoppers who may be hesitant to hit the high street despite the easing of lockdown restrictions.
Having spent over 100 days in lockdown, shopping and spending habits have inevitably changed with a shift in focus to online shopping, rather than in store.
And in an effort to keep the online shopping momentum going, Amazon has launched a massive summer sale on thousands of items - but the deals are only available for a very short time.
Amazon is offering reductions on over 4,000 popular products, reports Liverpool Echo.
The online retailer has pushed back its annual Prime Day to September due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, so instead of offering mega-discounts over a 24-hour period, Amazon has decided to launch a summer sale offering reductions on items it may have struggled to sell in recent months including swimwear and luggage.
The online event is split into several categories including baby, electrical, home and furniture, beauty and toys.
There are also discounts on perfumes and beauty products, baby strollers, nappy bags, books and films, running shoes and tents.
