Every year the choice for Christmas toys seems to get bigger and bigger.
So it's great to have the selection narrowed down a bit - especially with the help of toy experts.
The trend spotters at Amazon have had a good look at the toys on offer for Christmas 2020, and helpfully picked out some of their favourites.
This year’s top gifts take inspiration from cult TV, movie and video game characters, while up-to-the-minute faves are the 'surprise' style toys and the unboxing trend, as well as 'tiny tech' which sees even the youngest kids getting into digital devices.
Barbie, Back to the Future and Super Mario are big for 2020, alongside annual classics such as Star Wars and LEGO.
Of course there will also be modern classics on most kids' lists - including the latest Honeylicious LOL doll and a brand new Paw Patrol Dino Patroller.
‘Star Wars’ is one of the top searched keywords for toys on Amazon, inspired partly by the popular new Disney series - Star Wars The Mandalorian.
Star Wars The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport Starship has been selected by the Amazon toy boffins to be a potential bestseller and is available exclusively on Amazon.co.uk.
Meanwhile, The Child Animatronic Edition “AKA Baby Yoda” is a lovable interactive character for ages four and older.
Children can capture the family's smiles on Christmas morning with VTech's KidiZoom, a kid-friendly HD camera which includes video editing, 20 virtual backgrounds, and six fun games to ramp up the fun. This is also an Amazon exclusive.
