Amazon has revealed it will launch a major End of Summer sale and it could be as big as Prime Day.
Every July the retailer launches its Prime Day sale with major discounts on laptops, technology, gaming, fashion and toys and the sale event is classed as the second biggest shopping day of the year after Black Friday.
Amazon has announced a second major sale starting on Thursday 26 August on its deals section, with major discounts on thousands of items over the 24 hours.
The retailer has not revealed what will be included in the sale but there is one early deal on Sony WF1000-MX3 wireless headphones where the price has been reduced from £220 to just £125. The Sony headphones are regarded as some of the highest quality around and discounts on the WF1000-MX3 range are rare.
Other deals could include some of Amazon's own technology such as the Echo and Echo Dot smart devices and the Fire Stick. Currys PC World often mirrors some of the Amazon sales prices and it currently lists the Fire Stick HD 4K with Alexa voice control as £15 off. It is priced at £35 and it is likely Amazon will match this once the sale begins at midnight.
Other deals live on the Amazon site today include Sono and Oppo mobile phones, Sony OLED TVs, FitBit watches and 600 bags of Yorkshire Tea for £10. The eclectic mix of deals is not officially part of the End of Summer sale and more will be added overnight.
The Amazon End of Summer Sale will take place on Amazon here from Thursday 26 August.
