Fans of the long-running ITV soap have often taken to fan pages on social media to try and track down an item they have seen on screen and are desperate to own.
SoapStyle noticed a gap in the market for a fashion search engine after admiring a cardigan worn by a character on Eastenders.
The founder claims to have searched high and low trying to find out where it was from in order to purchase one without much luck, and after finally tracking it down it dawned upon them that other soap fans may want to know how to find soap fashions too.
Initially, SoapStyle was created as a simple blog providing the details on how to track down clothes seen on TV stars, later evolving into the search engine style it is today.
Emmerdale isn't the only soap covered either - the website features other shows including Coronation Street, Eastenders and Hollyoaks.
The website is updated regularly and often new clothes are added right after episodes have aired.
The team have successfully sourced over 900 soap wardrobe items to date and they don't just stop at fashion, they have also sourced wallpaper and home decor items.

SoapStyle has soared in popularity since its launchand even got a mention on the popular BBC Radio 4 programme Women’s Hour.
Due to demand, they do not currently offer a bespoke request service or fulfil individual enquiries.
However, the team aim to find as much as they can and publish the details as quickly as possible by sourcing items that they think most readers will like.
The website notes that they cannot find items from old episodes and do not generally source clothing worn by actors in real life with the exception of some television award events.
However, all recent items of clothing from popular soaps can be found on the website.
