Amazing response after French Bulldog puppies dumped in freezing alleyway

Three French Bulldog puppies that were left in a freezing alleyway have now found new homes.

Dogs Trust Merseyside took in the litter after they had been abandoned without food, water, or even a blanket to keep them warm in freezing conditions.

Hundreds of readers offered the dogs a home after the ECHO reported the news of them being dumped.

It has now been confirmed that the 15-week-old puppies, Arctic, Chilli and Polar have been rehomed.

Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Thank you to everyone who contacted us about providing Arctic, Chilli and Polar with new homes.

"We are delighted to say that they have now all found forever homes.

"Polar has already headed home and Arctic and Chilli are staying with wonderful foster carers who were planning a quiet Christmas.

"When all the hustle and bustle of the festive season has passed, Arctic and Chilli will then also head home with their forever families."

A ten-year-old rescue dog is also looking forward to spending his first Christmas in his new home after waiting three years for someone to fall in love with him.

Crossbreed Raffa was set to spend his third Christmas at Dogs Trust Merseyside having waited more than 1,000 days for his special someone to fall in love with him.

Anthony and Katharina are looking forward to their first Christmas with Raffa (Dogs Trust)

But now his wait is over and he’s looking forward to enjoying the festive season with his new owners, Katharina and Anthony Gill, at home in Wavertree.
