The number one restaurant in Liverpool on TripAdvisor has changed with the Akasya on Bold Street now in the top spot.
The restaurant, which opened back in June, has quickly risen the ranks of the review site to become the number one venue in Liverpool.
At the time of publication, Akasya had received 98 reviews, of which 96 people rated it 'excellent'.

Set over two floors and seating 300, Akasya serves contemporary Turkish cuisine, with a traditional grill, tasty baklava menu and laid-back cocktails to complete the restaurant’s authentic experience.
Dishes range from lamb chops and adana made on the charcoal grill to specials such as beyti and guvec.
Among the reviews, one person wrote: “BEST Turkish restaurant in Liverpool! I have been to every Turkish restaurant in Liverpool and I can definitely say this is the best!
“Food is so tasty with generous portions and the restaurant is clean, you can even see the chefs cooking and there workspace.
“Had the most amazing service from Yunus the manager, he was attentive and knowledgeable and I couldn’t recommend more. Thank you so much and we will be attending again!”
Another added: “Amazing. Wow went here last night..what can I say? The food..the staff and the atmosphere are wonderful. Also there's sooo much food for a very reasonable price..we will definitely be returning. Thank you”.
A third reviewer wrote: “Never fails to wow. Visited this restaurant a handful of times and each every time blown away by the friendliness of the staff the service is exceptional.
“Then there's the food it's unreal so fresh tasty delicious the cocktails and not forgetting the Turkish tea. Love live live this restaurant can't recommend enough

Akasya is based on Bold Street inside the former home of noted designer boutique Giancarlo Ricci.
The restaurant is open from 12pm until 11pm, Monday to Sunday.
