Amazing £1 beach hack for getting sand off your children's feet this summer

As the summer heatwave finally sets in, everyone will be rushing to the seaside to keep cool.

However, by the end of the day everyone is tired and there'll no doubt be a few tantrums as you pack everything up to head home.

While the kids love running around on the beach and playing in the sea, sand gets everywhere and it can be a nightmare rubbing it off their feet when it's time to get in the car.

But now one mum has come up with a hassle-free way of getting sand off your children's feet this summer.

Most of us have grappled with washing feet in the sea and then trying to towel them off before they get sandy again.

But now your troubles are over - and just in time for a scorcher of a weekend.

Not only is talcum powder a household essential but now it's set to become a must-have beach product too.

Parents took to Mumsnet to reveal how they used talcum powder to get sand off their children's feet at the beach.

The best way of dealing with sand is to rub talc on your feet and toes before cleaning them.

“Chuck a load on your feet to help brush off the sand that's stuck to them. Works like a charm," the website declared.

Another mum said: “Tried talc on sand today… got a few weird looks but lo and behold, it did in fact work!”

So before you put your shoes on, douse your feet in talc and it should soak up all the mositure.

Your feet should then be sand-free after rubbing them with a towel.

And with talcum powder available for just a quid in the Poundshop, it's a cheap and easy hack to try this summer.
