Julianna Pena will attempt to take one of Amanda Nunes’ two UFC titles from the Brazilian on Saturday, as she challenges for the women’s bantamweight belt in the co-main event of UFC 269.
Nunes, who also holds the women’s featherweight title, has not lost since 2014, while Pena is 2-2 in her last four fights.
As such, the odds are against the American, who is of Mexican and Venezuelan descent.
But third-ranked Pena told The Independent this week: “I’m not Nostradamus, I can’t predict exactly how it’s going to happen, but I predict a win. If I knock her out with my pinky finger, are you going to tell me it’s wrong?”
